Soroptimist International of Greater Las Vegas (SIGLV), a 501 (c)(3) organization, offers local programs that improve the social and economic condition of women and girls as well as participate in organization-wide programs.

Our Mission:  To improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world through Awareness, Advocacy and Action.

Soroptimist is an international women’s organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. More than 80,000 Soroptimists in about 130 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects that benefit women and girls.

SIGLV donates to The Embracing Project

SIGLV recently donated $1,500 to The Embracing Project, which provides mentoring, advocacy, clothing and hygiene items, tutoring, life skills training, and more to restore and heal child victims of sex trafficking.

SIGLV Accepts Friendship Link With SI Tynemouth, Whitley Bay and District, Northern England

Their members wish to truly share a practical project that impacts the well-being of girls.  Our THT project appealed to them. They also help victims of human trafficking with “new start bags.”
